SUMMARY
Provides current college information to prospective students, students, faculty/staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provides a positive, friendly and knowledgeable impression of the College; assists students with information for successful college entrance.
2. Collect, organize and distribute current and accurate information to prospective students, faculty/staff and general public.
3. Assists divisions/departments in informing targeted groups by distributing flyers or participating in out bound call efforts
4. Prepares and mails all requests for general and/or specific information regarding the College,
5. Provides call center support.
6. Assists other departments during peak registration periods.
7. Accepts forms for admissions and financial aid departments after regular hours.
8. Prints students' schedules and receipts upon request.
9. Provides orientation support
10. Coordinates and leads campus tours
11. Performs other duties as appropriate to department and/or student related needs.

6. Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working with public, preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
