SUMMARY
Defines
registration, admission and program policies and procedures to faculty, staff,
and students; coordinates and supervises processing of dual enrollment and
first-year students applications and registration
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Interprets registration, admission and
program policies and procedures to faculty, staff and students
2. Coordinates procedures for special projects
with Counseling and Advising, Financial Aid and Business Office
3. Supervises processing of admissions
documentation received by Outreach Department
4. Makes recommendations to the Director for
improvement of systems and programs of the department
5. Assists with the establishment of goals and
objectives for the department
6. Coordinates dual enrollment and entering
first-year students processing with outreach and admissions
7. Supports outreach activities and events as
necessary, including high school visits, tours, and events, as well as
orientations
8. Performs other duties as assigned by the
Director

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's
degree in an appropriate field; Master's preferred.
Experience
in a higher educational institution, preferably in an office of admissions
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability
to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations. Ability
to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of students, managers,
customers, and the general public.
