SUMMARY
Performs routine clerical duties in
support of the department.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
1. Maintains departmental files
2.
Prepares purchase requisitions, reports, and similar documents. Enters data.
3.
Maintains budgetary records and equipment inventory
4.
Maintains the periodical collection
5. Sorts and shelves books and
periodicals; issues and receives library materials
6. Answers routine inquiries and
assists library users in locating materials appropriate to their needs
7. Monitors the Sam and
8. Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, minimum;
certificate of completion or 30 college hours, preferred Recent library
experience, preferred
LANGUAGE
SKILLS
Ability
to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small
group situations to students, customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization.
